Job Summary: The Senior Director of IT Strategy will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for developing and executing the company's IT strategy to align with overall business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of technology trends, business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills to drive transformational change across our IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead strategic initiatives and drive the roadmap for digital transformation.

  • Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage. Make recommendations for technology investments and upgrades.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior executives, business leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure IT strategies and projects align with business needs and priorities.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, including planning, forecasting, and resource allocation. Ensure cost-effective use of technology resources and investments.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to IT strategy and operations, and develop mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of IT strategies and initiatives. Report on progress and outcomes to the executive team.

  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to IT projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.

  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a strong track record of developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business success.

  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior executives and other stakeholders.

  • Experience managing large-scale IT projects and budgets, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
