SALARY: $145,000 - $196,000 per year

Summary:
-
Oversees engine, APU, thrust reverser, and nacelle programs to ensure safety, airworthiness, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
-
Managing technical support, performance, and financial reviews of powerplant systems while maximizing their operational efficiency.
-
Forecast, coordinate, and manage scheduled/unscheduled removals of engines, APUs, and thrust reversers.

Maintain spares, tooling, and inventory for engine changes.
-
Lead shop visits, develop technical bid specs, and oversee work scopes.
-
Monitor financial planning, budgeting, and variance reporting for all events.
-
Develop reliability improvement programs, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.

Manage customer performance and financial agreements for powerplant systems.

Collaborate with internal teams, manufacturers, MROs, and regulatory bodies.

Support integration of new and previously operated aircraft and powerplants.
-
Ensure technical documentation accuracy and compliance with FARs, ADs, SBs, etc.

Establish repair/build specs to enhance dispatch reliability.

Provide 24/7 technical assistance and manage the Engine Condition Monitoring Program.
Required Skills:
-
15+ years in Aircraft Powerplant Engineering.

10 12 years in applied engineering (preferred).

Senior-level engineering/aviation maintenance management.
-
Expertise in large powerplant systems, cost-effective solutions, and financial analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
-
Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
-
Familiarity with aircraft engine/APU systems and components.
-
Exceptional multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
-
Ability to work with manufacturers, regulatory agencies, and cross-functional teams.
