Senior Director Of Product Development Apply
The Senior Director of Product Development is responsible for delivering profitable sales growth, leveraging optimal production capabilities and opportunities for the laminate flooring for the domestically produced product, and collaborating with European sister plants to maximize sales. This is a multifaceted role spanning strategy through execution. The purpose of this role will be to lead efforts through product development, design, coupled with market intelligence and manufacturing excellence, through the tollgate process.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept ideation through market launch
- Develop comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market opportunities
- Oversee cross-functional product development teams, including designers, manufacturing, and project managers
- Establish and maintain product development processes, timelines, and quality standards
- Drive design innovation and aesthetic direction for home decor product lines while working with outside designers
- Collaborate with design teams to create compelling, market-relevant product concepts
- Balance creative vision with commercial viability and manufacturing constraints
- Monitor and analyze emerging design trends, consumer preferences, and lifestyle shifts
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning studies
- Translate trend insights into actionable product development strategies
- Maintain awareness of cultural, demographic, and seasonal influences on design preferences
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure product designs are optimized for production
- Oversee toll gate processes to balance quality, cost, and efficiency

- Develop and track key performance indicators for product success
