Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Director of Product Development to lead our product development team. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving product innovation, managing cross-functional teams, and executing product strategies that align with our company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement product development strategies that align with company objectives and market needs. Provide visionary leadership to ensure the successful launch and ongoing enhancement of products.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of product managers, engineers, and designers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including market research, product design, development, testing, and commercialization.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product alignment with market demands and company goals.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the product development budget. Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Innovation: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product development processes and methodologies. Encourage creative solutions and experimentation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in product development or management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of product development methodologies, including Agile and Lean. Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams is a plus.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
