Position Overview: The Senior Director of Sustainability will be responsible for developing and executing [Company Name]'s sustainability strategy, aligning it with our overall business objectives. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing sustainability initiatives, and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values.
• Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sustainability professionals, ensuring effective execution of sustainability programs and initiatives.
• Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of sustainability projects, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable sourcing.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, employees, suppliers, and community partners, to promote sustainability goals and practices.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Prepare and present sustainability reports to the board and other key stakeholders.
• Innovation: Identify and drive innovative solutions to enhance sustainability performance and achieve long-term environmental goals.
• Education and Advocacy: Promote sustainability awareness and best practices throughout the organization and engage in advocacy efforts to advance corporate social responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in sustainability or environmental management roles, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GRI, CDP, ESG).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and change management.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
