The Technology team is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our internal clients, including world-class Technology Service Desk, systems administration, project management, and development team. We are a small and adaptable team, and this role will have the opportunity to support a wide variety of key IT initiatives, programs, processes, and daily activities.
Position Description
We are seeking a Senior Dynamics & Power Platform Developer for a 12-month contract engagement to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade solutions across Microsoft’s Power Platform ecosystem. This role will deliver scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and Azure DevOps.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect and builder who can quickly assess business needs, translate complex requirements into intuitive applications and intelligent automations, and drive measurable impact within a defined project timeline. This contractor will operate as a strategic technical partner, accelerating delivery while ensuring strong governance, security, and long-term platform sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable solutions within Dynamics 365 Model-Driven Apps aligned to business requirements and platform best practices
- Build Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps to streamline and enhance core business processes
- Architect and develop advanced Power Automate flows for enterprise automation, API integrations, and cross-platform workflows
- Develop and configure AI copilots and intelligent agents using Copilot Studio to drive productivity and operational efficiency
- Develop custom Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) components using React and TypeScript to extend platform capabilities and enhance user experience
- Architect and maintain robust Dataverse structures to support complex financial data models and reporting requirements
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML-based), ensuring consistent, automated deployments across environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, test, and implement third-party integrations, including emerging AI-based solutions
- Provide guidance on Power Platform governance, architecture standards, and solution scalability
- Stay current on Microsoft Power Platform innovations and proactively recommend improvements
- Demonstrated expertise in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and solution design
- Advanced proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse architecture, security roles and managed environments
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based) using Azure DevOps and GitHub integration
- Working knowledge of Copilot Studio and AI-driven workflow development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Optional Skills:
- Hands-on experience with PCF development using React and TypeScript
- Experience supporting investment company or financial services business processes
- Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling principles
- Experience with Microsoft AppSource (3rd party add-on store)
