As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. Position Summary
We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and coordinate the electrical design components for various projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality electrical systems. This role involves overseeing junior designers and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time. Relocation assistance and signing bonuses are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and specify power distribution systems (panel schedules, risers), lighting, lighting control systems, and low-voltage systems.
  • Design specialized electrical systems, including emergency generator systems, site lighting, fire alarms, and nurse call systems.
  • Coordinate with clients during meetings/webinars to align electrical systems with other project components.
  • Work with vendors to specify and select appropriate equipment for projects.
  • Manage revisions and deliverables, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Review submittals and shop drawings, ensuring design accuracy.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) during the design and construction process.
  • Prepare construction drawings and specifications using CAD/REVIT.
  • Supervise and mentor Junior Electrical Designers.
  • Review, supervise, and stamp electrical designs.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years as an Electrical Engineer, preferably with experience in medical, office, retail, and multi-family projects.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
    • Familiarity with NEC and other applicable industry codes.
    • Experience with industry-standard software, including Microsoft Office products.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
