Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer (High Voltage) Apply
The Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and maintainability of electrical systems and equipment at the Celanese Bishop manufacturing plant. Additionally, the candidate would work closely with the project engineering group in development of design and installation specifications and participate in commissioning plans. Knowledge of medium and high voltage systems is a key requirement for this role.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies for electrical systems and equipmentParticipate in the design and installation of new or modified electrical systems and equipmentPerform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential risks and reliability issuesPlan and execute testing and performance evaluations to assess equipment reliability as it relates to electrical infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve reliability issues and improve equipment performanceDevelop and maintain electrical system documentation and recordsEnsure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field5-10 years of experience in electrical reliability engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including motors, VFD’s, generators, transformers, and switchgearWorking knowledge of medium and high voltage required.
