Safety and Compliance: Ensure that BMS software meets safety standards and complies with industry regulations. Implement safety‑critical algorithms and practices to enhance the reliability and safety of mining equipment. Code Quality and Review: Conduct thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high‑quality, reliable software. Leadership Skills: Mentor and guide junior team members in adopting best practices. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, with expertise in real‑time operating systems. Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN bus is essential. Cross‑Disciplinary Collaboration: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to support effective collaboration with electrical engineering teams. Functional Safety Awareness: Ideally familiar with safety standards such as ISO 26262 or ISO 13849, particularly in the context of embedded systems and control software. What You Bring (and Why You’re Perfect for Us) Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, with expertise in real‑time operating systems.
