The role involves completing general embedded software development assignments and contributing to design teams on electrical projects for vehicle chassis, components, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in the design of related products. A Master's Degree plus 3 years or greater experience will be considered the equivalent qualification. Responsibilities include developing and updating software requirements, creating embedded software, writing test requirements and documentation, and supporting software releasing and implementation. The candidate should have experience in software architecture development in C on embedded platforms, including commercial RTOS, and experience with communication protocols including J1939 and TCP/IP. Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point is required. The role also requires the ability and willingness to travel, including international travel up to 5% of working time.
