Diagnose hardware and software problems, and arrange for defective components to be replacedPerform routine monitoring, updates, and preventive maintenance across systemsHelp maintain and document IT inventory, system configurations, and proceduresCoordinate and follow-up with vendors, system administrators and project teams to resolve issues in the environmentsContribute to automation scripts and documentation to improve IT efficiencyJob Requirements2-3 years of working experience dealing with Data Center infrastructure, with hands-on setup experience working with physical servers and networking equipment such as switches , routers, firewalls etc.Minimum 3 years of working experience as a team lead, managing a small team of 2-3 engineers.Knowledge of virtualization technology such as Virtual Machines. Exposure in VMware products, ESXI , VCenter.Know how to setup virtualized network of VMs and vSwitches is a plus.Minimally CCNA or equivalent certification.Need strong networking knowledge such as IP subnetting, VLANS, routing, IPSec and port forwarding etc.Familiarization with cyber technologies is a plus, such as understanding SIEM, Antivirus, SSL, system logs etc.Good communcation skills dealing with all stakeholders.Ability to discuss with stakeholders daily on tasklists, work prioritization and delegate tasks out to team engineers.Work location: Candidate shall be working physically in an army camp located in Choa Chu Kang area daily.
