We are looking for a strong software engineer who enjoys working on a diverse set of platform technologies.

You will be helping build out systems supported by client's Collaboration, Automation, and Service Management Engineering team.

An ideal candidate will have experience using Java, React, Azure/AWS, and Atlassian technologies to solve problems.
-
You should be comfortable building new solutions and improving/enhancing the capabilities of existing solutions in production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Take technical lead on a new tool at client (named Talent Book) which will be used by all levels to track and report on engineering activities toward major initiatives.
-
Assume ownership of the code base from the original engineering team to learn, document, and then extend its capabilities.

Manage the deployment pipeline to Azure and/or AWS as needed.
-
Become an Atlassian subject matter expert, supporting the Jira and Confluence platforms
-
Build and maintain integrations between Talent Book and Jira.

Design and implement solutions that contribute to other existing platforms as needed.
-
Ability to solve problems and find solutions independently.
-
Ability to successfully debug complex issues found in production between multiple systems or services.

Automate business processes with various technologies.
-
Consistently demonstrates creative and useful ways of solving problems.

Sees upcoming problem areas and drives to solutions before they become problems.

This position may be required to perform other related duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
-
5 years' experience with Java and Spring Boot.
-
5 years' experience with React JS.
-
5 years' experience working with and deploying Highly Available and Highly Scalable applications.

5 years' experience creating and consuming RESTful services at scale.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience instrumenting applications and infrastructure to New Relic and Splunk.

Experience with large scale, enterprise ITSM and ITOM implementations.

Experience with Agile practices, including large scale practices such as SAFe and LeSS
-
Experience with web service integrations and server configuration.

Experience working in web-based platforms, like Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Experience working in a hybrid cloud infrastructure.
