Senior Engineering Technician Cybersecurity (SCADA/ICS)
Onsite Los Angeles | No Sponsorship / W2 only | 6+ Month Contract (Potential Extension or Conversion)

We're seeking a Senior Engineering Technician with strong cybersecurity expertise to support and lead SCADA network and security initiatives within an Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environment. This is a fully onsite role supporting critical infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, support, and enhancement of SCADA network and security architecture (LAN/WAN).
• Configure and manage switches, routers, firewalls (EIGRP, BGP).
• Support ICS/SCADA protocols (Modbus, DNP3, CIP).
• Implement and validate security solutions; conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with IT, security teams, and consultants on network/security projects.
• Develop documentation, compliance procedures, and security reports.
• Evaluate cybersecurity tools, vendors, and monitoring solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security architecture, VPNs, VLANs, WAN/LAN technologies.
• Hands-on firewall configuration and administration experience.
• Experience performing security testing, audits, and vulnerability assessments.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP (Security)
• GIAC GICSP
• ISA/IEC 62443

Education & Experience

Relevant technical education and 8+ years of related experience in engineering/technical roles.
