This role can be based out of our Bothell, WA or Portland, OR office.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with deep regional experience and relationships, a strong understanding of environmental permitting, and the confidence to lead and grow business in a dynamic market.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets aligned with client and firm goalsOversee project progress using project management tools (experience with Deltek VantagePoint is a plus)Conduct and direct project-specific researchWrite and supervise the preparation of technical and compliance reportsReview deliverables for accuracy and regulatory alignmentSchedule project resources and ensure appropriate team staffingMentor and train junior staff in field methods and regulatory documentationInterface with regulatory agencies and government bodies to ensure project complianceMaintain strong, productive relationships with existing clientsProactively develop new client relationships and business opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in natural resources, environmental science, geology, soil science, or a related field10+ years of experience with environmental permitting, including but not limited to:NEPACWA Section 404ESASEPAOregon Goal 5Oregon Environmental Protection Act7+ years of progressive project management experienceProven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients and regulatory agenciesTrack record of delivering complex projects efficiently and within budgetStrong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)OfferingCompetitive compensation and industry-leading benefits tailored to your needsFlexible work schedules and recognition of prior industry experience when calculating PTOA multidisciplinary, collaborative environment where projects are creative and impactfulSupportive culture with two-way mentorship, tuition reimbursement, and incentives to publish your workClear career development paths designed to help you reach the next levelThe opportunity to be an employee-owner in a company that cares deeply about people, community, and sustainabilityOpen communication, transparent leadership, and a place where diverse perspectives are valued and welcome
