Job Description and Duties

Habitat Conservation Planning is hiring a Senior Environmental Scientist Supervisor to supervise our Caltrans and Southern California Edison (SCE) workload. If you are a self-motivated-person and would like a challenge the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Under the general direction of the Environmental Program Manager I, the incumbent will oversee the preparation of and complex and in-depth environmental reviews, analyses, and preparation of Lake and Streambed Alteration (LSA) Agreements (Fish and Game code 1600), California Environmental Quality Act (CESA) Incidental Take Permits (Fish and Game code 2081b) and Consistency Determinations (Fish and Game code 2080.1) as it pertains to Caltrans and SCE Operations Maintenance and Capital Projects. The incumbent will also coordinate with other regional and statewide staff as it relates to Caltrans and SCE projects
Incumbent would also be responsible for the oversight of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) document development and certification as the Lead Agency for SCE projects that includes a Master LSA for Operation and Maintenance.
This position needs a person who can balance several projects at the same time, diligent at keeping projects on-time and on schedule, and a team player, we are looking for you!
