Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced recruiter with deep expertise in the automotive industry and a strong track record in executive hiring. This role will lead end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership positions, partnering closely with business leaders to attract and hire top-tier talent across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end executive search mandates for leadership roles (Director, VP, CXO levels) within the automotive domain
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business strategy, workforce planning, and leadership hiring needs
  • Develop and execute targeted talent mapping and market intelligence strategies across OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers, and mobility companies
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive leadership candidates through networking and industry engagement
  • Drive candidate assessment, interview design, and offer negotiation for senior hires
  • Ensure a high-touch, professional candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Collaborate with external search firms where required and manage vendor relationships
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics, market insights, and hiring trends
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all executive hiring processes

Key Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant focus on automotive industry hiring
  • Proven experience handling executive search / leadership hiring mandates
  • Strong understanding of automotive value chain (OEMs, suppliers, EV, mobility, manufacturing, R&D)
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Expertise in talent mapping, headhunting, and market research
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in either in-house leadership hiring or executive search firms
  • High level of discretion and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience hiring for EV, autonomous, or next-gen mobility sectors
  • Exposure to global hiring or multi-region leadership searches
  • MBA or equivalent qualification
