ZeroFox is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes. This is an incremental add to our team, supporting the company’s rapid growth and business partnering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning, to support strategic decision-making
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and stakeholders
  • Conduct comprehensive financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning exercises
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and evaluate business initiatives, investments, and acquisitions
  • Analyze key financial metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance and profitability
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas of improvement and potential risks
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for executive leadership and board meetings
  • Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager, VP FP&A or CFO

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working in finance, accounting or related role. Preferably in a software or recuring revenue business (but not required)
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Proficient in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Netsuite, Spiff are a plus)
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic, competitive “team first” mentality, and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
