Iron Key provides select startups business development and fundraising advisory services. Iron Key is partnered with a broker-dealer investment firm to execute fundraising services for Seed Stage startups.

Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced financial services sales representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and business development. This role involves speaking with investors to ensure growth of our partnered investment funds, startups, and ensuring optimal returns for our ecosystem.

We offer on-chain investment products that blend the best of liquid markets with traditional illiquid assets. We accomplish this through a hybrid open-ended and closed ended entity structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve desired fund performance.
  • Monitor and manage investment portfolios to ensure alignment with investment objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of investment funds, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on fund performance to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with investment portfolios.
  • Implement strategies to manage and diversify risk effectively.
  • Lead and manage investment syndicates, coordinating efforts among multiple investors.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among syndicate members.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and launch new investment funds tailored to emerging market segments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with insights and updates on their investments.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage the deal flow submission and review process, including coordinating with founders
  • Communicate with the investor community to ensure alignment of investment thesis, stage, geo, etc.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development. You are not afraid to speak your mind and get your point across
  • Previous exposure to investors is highly preferred
  • Experience in articulating the value proposition of new technologies and investment opportunities
  • Having built and scaled an online community is a major plus
  • Business Development capabilities and investor relationship management is absolutely essential
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and investment management tools.
  • In-depth understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and economic trends.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the investment industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as Series 6, 7 Series 63, or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) are highly desirable.
