The Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Operations at Augmentjobs is a critical role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of the company. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis & Reporting:

   • Analyze financial data and develop insights to support strategic decision-making.

   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

   • Monitor key financial metrics, trends, and variances to forecast future financial performance.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting:

   • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with departmental leaders to develop realistic and achievable budgets.

   • Perform ongoing forecasting to track financial performance against budgets and provide actionable insights.

   • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

3. Operational Efficiency:

   • Collaborate with operations teams to streamline processes and optimize resource allocation.

   • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

   • Support the implementation of financial systems and tools that enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.

4. Strategic Planning:

   • Contribute to the development and execution of long-term financial strategies.

5. Compliance & Risk Management:

   • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

6. Leadership & Collaboration:

   • Mentor and guide junior financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

   • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is preferred.

• Experience:

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a financial operations or corporate finance role.

  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

  • Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems.

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
