As a Senior Financial Analyst in Investment Banking at Augmentjobs, you will play a critical role in providing analytical support and insights to help drive the firm's investment strategies. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and develop recommendations for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising initiatives. Your work will directly influence key financial decisions and strategic planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including valuation, financial modeling, and scenario planning, to support investment banking transactions.

• Report Preparation: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including pitch books, client proposals, and transaction summaries.

• Market Research: Perform market research and industry analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that could impact investment decisions.

• Transaction Support: Assist in the execution of investment banking transactions such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity offerings, and debt financings, including due diligence and documentation.

• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their financial needs and objectives, and provide strategic advice and solutions to address their goals.

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including investment bankers, legal advisors, and accountants, to ensure successful transaction execution.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the transaction process.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.

• Experience: 6 to 9 years of experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or related fields with a proven track record in financial modeling and transaction support.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis; advanced skills in Excel and financial software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
