About the role The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the more complex activities associated with maintaining general ledger accounts, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include financial reporting, account analysis, planning, and forecasting. This position requires a strong accounting and analytical aptitude to support the Finance Team’s general accounting and Financial Reporting groups. This position requires the ability to multitask, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing Assists in the month-end close processes and financial reporting. Prepare/review account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Prepare monthly reporting package sub-schedules and P&L flux analysis. Prepares accrual and adjusting journal entries. Approve treasury and some general accounting entries. Provides support to the Accounting Manager-General as needed (e.g., chart of account updates). Processes information requests (e.g., year-end audit requests). Documents / maintains general accounting policies and procedures. Develops best practice process flows in defined area of responsibility. Provides support to the Financial Reporting Manager as needed. Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis, as requested by management (e.g., Corporate Controller and CFO). Compiles financial reporting in accordance with GAAP according to defined deadlines. Creates and maintains reports for senior management and presents data to appropriate parties. Creates and maintains reports for internal and external reporting. Performs the consolidation of international subsidiaries. Prepares and maintains budget under the direction of management. Prepares budget to actual comparisons analysis. Provide qualitative analysis and commentary on monthly results. Develops Key Performance Indicator (KPI) summary reporting and analysis. Interfaces with external and internal auditors in relation to monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews. Prepares annual report including writing footnotes to the financial statements, appendices, and exhibits. Contributes to the development of accounting policies and procedures. Maintains reporting tools provided to end users including Salesforce and SAP. Maintains financial data accuracy and integrity by in-depth analysis of financial reports and underlying data. Reviewing financial reports and underlying data Questioning reporting of data anomalies Initiating error detection controls to prevent future errors Initiating error correction activities Plans and manages business analysis across multiple projects and initiatives Develops system improvements to increase efficiencies across job function. Performs special assignments and analysis as requested (e.g., slide decks for executive team) Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values. What you have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master’s degree or CPA a plus 5+ years related business experience in a medium to large size business Legally eligible to work in the United States. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel (e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Professional self-starter, able to work independently, and has strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with others. Extremely detail oriented and resourceful. Prior knowledge of Infor SyteLine is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and personal judgment.
