Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Data Analyst with robust expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial management reporting, and SaaS-based financial platforms. The candidate will support existing reporting tools and processes, contribute to the migration to the Board Enterprise Planning Platform, and work closely with corporate finance FP&A controllers. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with multiple financial reporting platforms, and the ability to collaborate with business users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support & Migration: Provide techno-functional support for current FP&A applications with ERP/GL experience, facilitating the transition to a new SaaS platform (Board Enterprise Planning Platform).
• Data Analysis & Strategy: Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting, ensuring data accuracy, and implementing optimized processes for analytics teams.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Act as a strategic thinker, showing leadership and initiative in aligning project objectives with business goals and collaborating closely with finance teams.
• Financial Data Management: Work on developing dimensional reporting, create complex SQL scripts, and manage data accuracy in Hyperion, Essbase, and Smart View.
• Reporting & Budgeting: Support financial statement reporting including income statements, balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow, and assist in forecasting and budgeting.
• Data Modeling: Utilize Oracle Database Schema and Snowflake Schema data modeling techniques for report generation and analytics.
• Automation & Job Scheduling: Create and maintain calculation scripts, automation processes, batch scripts, and business rules for optimized FP&A workflows.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in implementation, development, and support of reporting platforms, ideally in financial services.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced SQL scripting, stored procedures, and complex data analysis.
  • Proficient in Hyperion Suite (Hyperion BI+, Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Reports, and Analyzer).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System, Excel Add-ins, Interactive Reporting Studio, and Dashboard Reporting.
  • Experience in Essbase BSO/ASO cubes, MAXL automation, and data forms.
• Financial Expertise: Strong background in financial management reporting, with the ability to interpret and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of SQL Loader for interaction with Essbase Cubes.
  • Familiarity with workflow, AI, and machine learning applications within reporting.
  • Exposure to Board Enterprise Planning Platform preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Competencies:

• Reporting and Analytics Tools: Familiarity with SaaS reporting tools, Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio, Oracle Integration Services, and ancillary finance platforms.
• Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability to lead data engineering teams in the development of robust analytics processes.
