Job Description:As the Senior Financial Operations Director at Augmentjobs, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes. You will lead a team of financial professionals and collaborate closely with senior management to drive financial strategy, streamline operations, and support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

Direct and mentor a team of finance professionals, including Financial Analysts, Controllers, and Operations Managers.

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization.

Operations Management:

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance reporting capabilities.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing strategies to safeguard the company's assets and financial integrity.

Strategic Initiatives:

Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives through financial due diligence and integration planning.

Reporting & Communication:

Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations.

Communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.

Experience:

8 to 12 years of progressively responsible experience in financial operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial or director-level role.

Proven track record of leading financial teams and managing complex financial operations.

Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling tools).
