Job Description:

As the Senior Financial Operations Director at Augmentjobs, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes. You will lead a team of financial professionals and collaborate closely with senior management to drive financial strategy, streamline operations, and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:

    • Direct and mentor a team of finance professionals, including Financial Analysts, Controllers, and Operations Managers.

    • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

    • Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization.

  • Operations Management:

    • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    • Optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance reporting capabilities.

  • Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.

    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing strategies to safeguard the company's assets and financial integrity.

  • Strategic Initiatives:

    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

    • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives through financial due diligence and integration planning.

  • Reporting & Communication:

    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations.

    • Communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 8 to 12 years of progressively responsible experience in financial operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial or director-level role.

    • Proven track record of leading financial teams and managing complex financial operations.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.

    • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling tools).

  • Analytical Skills:

    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.

  • Leadership Skills:

    • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
