Junior Financial ManagerQuantech has an immediate opening for a Junior Financial Manager supporting the Cyber and Networks Directorate (HN) at Hanscom AFB. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:Apply financial management and accounting functions to gather, analyze, and present information for program managers and customers.Prepare program budgets and reports; draft solutions for funding requirements and improvements to financial systems or procedures.Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, execution reporting, schedule analysis, and EVM; provide recommendations to the program office.Identify accounting discrepancies and take appropriate corrective actions.Use automated management information systems to perform fact-finding and analytical functions.Compile financial material for FIAR-compliant audits, internal control programs, self-assessments, and routine reporting.Assist with program-specific funds management documentation and the execution of automated models to aid decision-making.Prepare financial inputs for events such as BER, IBR, MDR, MAR, PMR, ASP, and IPT risk assessments.Draft documentation for Government review including P-DOCS, R-DOCS, POM, PRs, and MIPRs in accordance with FM policy.Maintain an independent audit trail to track and report the status of all funds (active, expired, and cancelled).Deliver quick-turnaround "what-if" funding assessments and ad-hoc reporting.Support AF or DoD exercises and simulations for real-world scenario readiness.Perform research and analysis for accounting issues using tools like CCaRS, CRIS, WAWF, and FM Suite.QualificationsKnowledge of DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and financial data analysis methodologies.Familiarity with DoD contracting types, structures, and funding clauses relevant to spend plans.Skill in formulating and justifying financial requirements for acquisition or sustainment programs.Ability to gather and analyze data using financial systems to resolve budget problems under short deadlines.Job is on-site at Hanscom AFB (5 days per week)Must have and maintain an active SECRET security clearance.BA/BS degree with 1-3 years of experience in a technical or professional financial discipline.Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 (salary based on years' of relevant experience)
