Senior Full Stack Web And Java Software Engineer A Senior Full Stack Web And Java Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that meet the needs of clients and users. They are expected to have a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as experience with Java programming language. They should be able to work independently or as part of a team to develop software solutions that meet business requirements. This is a contract to hire position based out of Pilsen, Chicago as the resource is expected to be in the office for 3 days. Required Skills Full Stack Azure Java React SQL, NoSQL TDD Job Duties Designing and developing web applications using Java programming language. Familiar with Docker and containerization. PAAS – Cloud Foundry / OpenShift. Experienced with Test Driven Development (TDD). Developing front-end website architecture using React Framework. Designing user interactions on web pages. Developing back-end website applications. Creating servers and databases for functionality Azure SQL or Cosmos DB. Ensuring responsiveness of applications. Working alongside graphic designers for web design features. Seeing through a feature from conception to finished product. Designing and developing APIs Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, experience with javascript, React framework, SQL & NoSQL databases, TDD. Familiarity with Docker and containerization, experience with creating apis, front end and backend development. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to architect complex systems. Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
