Senior Fullstack Developer Laravel/React

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong experience in Laravel and React to join a product-focused team building scalable, modern web applications. What you’ll be doing Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using PHP 8.3 and Laravel 12 Build modern frontend applications using React 18 and TypeScript Write and maintain automated tests for new and existing code (PHPUnit, Vitest) Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations Work with real-time features using websockets and event-driven architecture Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams Contribute to architecture discussions and technical improvements Contribute to reducing technical debt through refactoring and test coverage Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability Participate in mandatory code reviews for every PR Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve development speed, code quality, and problem-solving workflows Tech Stack Backend PHP 8.3 Laravel 12 Filament 4 MySQL 8 Redis Laravel Horizon Stripe / Laravel Cashier Swagger / OpenAPI Frontend React 18 TypeScript Material UI (MUI 5) Redux Toolkit / RTK Query Formik + Yup react-dnd Testing PHPUnit Vitest Playwright Infrastructure & Tools Docker & Docker Compose AWS (S3, ECR, Lambda via Bref) Bitbucket Pipelines Pusher / Pusher JS Git + Bitbucket What we’re looking for Strong experience with Laravel and modern PHP development Solid frontend experience with React and TypeScript Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) Experience designing and consuming REST APIs Good understanding of relational databases and caching systems Experience working with Docker-based environments Comfortable working with codebases that have significant technical debt Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar solutions to improve productivity and accelerate development workflows Strong mindset toward continuous improvement, automation, and modern AI-assisted engineering practices Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with distributed teams Nice to have Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native architectures Experience with serverless architectures Experience with payment platforms like Stripe Experience with Filament admin panels Experience with Spatie Laravel Data (DTOs) Experience with real-time applications and websockets Knowledge of image/video processing tools such as FFmpeg or Intervention Image Experience working in agile product teams Previous experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives Advanced English is required, as you’ll work directly with US-based clients in a fully collaborative environment.
