What can you expect in a Senior Google Support Engineer role with TaskUs:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Google Workspace Engineer to manage and optimize our organization’s Google Workspace (GWS) environment.This role will be responsible for overseeing user accounts, managing security settings, and ensuring seamless functionality of key GWS applications like Gmail, Drive, and Meet among others. You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Google Workspace and related systems, collaborating across teams to deliver technical solutions and ensure the productivity and security of our organization’s digital ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:Global Subject Matter Expert (SME): Lead and provide expertise in the administration, deployment, and implementation of Google Workspace solutions across the enterprise.System Administration & Maintenance: Oversee the daily operation of the GWS ecosystem, including the GWS admin console, third-party tools, and internal utilities.Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact with Google product managers, strategists, tech support, and outsourced vendors. Collaborate to evaluate and recommend new GWS features, enhancements, and best practices.Enterprise Solutions Rollout: Lead the implementation of custom solutions that integrate GWS functionality and improve enterprise productivity.Incident & Issue Management: Manage the resolution of escalated issues related to GWS, coordinating with internal technical teams and Google support. Provide detailed impact assessments and resolutions for high-priority (P1/P2) incidents.Mobile & Endpoint Management: Administer Google’s Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) environment, manage device enrollments, resolve complex mobile OS issues, and maintain oversight of Google Chrome endpoints and associated device management.Analytics & Reporting: Set up and maintain Google Analytics digital properties, enabling dashboards and reports. Troubleshoot and resolve any reporting discrepancies or issues related to data accuracy.Identity & Access Management (IAM): Oversee and optimize GWS account management processes, integrating them with enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. Continuously improve processes to streamline GWS account lifecycle management.Security & Compliance: Collaborate with the Information Security team to enforce security policies, including cross-platform controls, audit procedures, and secure app management.App Management: Manage the publishing, revocation, and updates of apps and extensions within the enterprise mobile and Chrome app stores.Required Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience in Google Workspace administration.5+ years of experience in messaging administration.3+ years of experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration.Advanced knowledge in Google Cloud Platform.GAM scripting capability.In-depth knowledge of messaging infrastructure, mail transfer protocols, spam/phishing/virus protection, and email access protocols.Strong understanding of Google Workspace’s capabilities, including Google Admin Console, Drive, Meet, and other GWS apps.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Google Workspace certification or other related certifications.Experience working with enterprise-level security tools and processes.Familiarity with Google Analytics setup and reporting.Education / Certifications:Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel: Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for incident management and flexibility on shift schedule assignment (night shift and weekend schedule).Project handling and Change management awareness until successful deployment with pre-checks and post implementation.Current WFH setup
