Job Title: Senior HVAC Account Manager (EMS) Job Summary: EMCOR Mechanical Services has an opportunity for a Senior HVAC Account Manager in Phoenix, AZ. Position can also be performed remotely. Ability to travel up to 50% is required. This position is accountable for the overall performance and customer relationship of assigned accounts. This includes, but is not limited to, customer retention, meeting customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), achieving/exceeding revenue and margin targets, maintaining and improving client satisfaction and account expansion. In conjunction with the General Manager and VP, this position will help develop and execute strategic direction and be accountable for account implementation. Account Managers provide leadership and work in partnership with internal stakeholders (Sales, Field, Operations, Procurement, and Finance) to ensure all services are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and all customer and service provider issues are addressed in a timely manner. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time and have strong HVAC skills, financial acumen, communication skills and analytical abilities. This position will be responsible for managing the initial accounts under the EMS HVAC National Account Team. As this will be the first account manager, position will work with the leadership team to develop the standard processes for initial accounts which will continue to be used and refined with future accounts. The goal of this role is that as the team grows, future account managers could report to this position. As one of the initial team members on the EMS HVAC National Account team, this person will help the team determine resource allocation, alignment of functional leads in support of accounts, and strategy for future accounts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Partnering with EMCOR Operating Companies and communication with them to attain account management goals. Working with the EMCOR National HVAC Sales and Commercial Solution Teams Continuous process improvements Responsible for leading Accounts team, leader development and training for team members to include operations manager and operations coordinators (Previously Facility Coordinators.) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; MBA preferred (degree requirement waived if equivalent experience) Business Experience: Minimum of 5 years Facilities Management / Operations experience. Experience in building repair and maintenance or the trades (HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing) is required. Preference to have worked in multi-site and multi-state national account operations. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time to Phoenix AZ as well as EMCOR offices and customer locations.
