Overview:
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for software development, analysis, and troubleshooting. This role requires expertise in system operations, working with IBM products, MQs, and AWS technologies. The position involves designing, coding, testing, and providing direct support for mission-critical applications.

Position: 6-Month Contract (Possible extension)

Responsibilities:

• Technical Design & Development (25%): Lead design, coding, and testing of complex applications. Serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Software Analysis & Testing (25%): Analyze requirements and perform software testing, including automated unit tests and structured test case development.
• Software Solutions & Maintenance (25%): Develop and implement enterprise-level software solutions. Maintain existing systems and recommend improvements.
• Technical Support & Mentorship (25%): Provide technical support for high-visibility, critical issues. Work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development, including coding, design, and testing.
• Expertise in software architecture, requirements definition, and system integration.
• In lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Advanced proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and databases (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD tools, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with IBM products, MQs, and server operations troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
