Senior IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer

Location: Surgoinsville, TN

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise IT environments, network infrastructure, cloud services, and security frameworks.

• Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments
• Perform server monitoring, hardening, patching, and performance tuning

• Administer VMware and Nutanix environments
• Handle VM provisioning, optimization, and disaster recovery (DR)

• Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN networks
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls (Fortinet)

• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure policy compliance

• Manage Microsoft Azure environments (AWS knowledge is a plus)
• Focus on cost optimization, governance, and cloud security

• Administer NAS/SAN storage systems
• Ensure backup integrity and disaster recovery readiness

• Maintain infrastructure security through patching and remediation
• Identify and mitigate potential risks

• Provide advanced troubleshooting for infrastructure and end-user issues
• Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and support

• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Python

• Drive technology upgrades and infrastructure optimization initiati

• 7 10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and network engineering
• Strong experience in:
  • Network administration and firewall management
  • Windows and Linux system administration
  • VMware/Nutanix virtualization platforms
  • Azure/AWS cloud environments
  • NAS/SAN storage systems
• Certifications such as required
• VCP (VMware Certified Professional) preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
