Job Title : Senior IT Security Engineer Active Directory, PAM & Identity Management

Required Skills and Experience:
- 6-10 years of hands-on experience in IT Security, specifically with Active Directory, Azure AD, and PAM systems.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and manage security issues.
- Experience with PAM solutions like CyberArk, and U4, and familiarity with integrating them with other security tools.
- In-depth understanding of security policies and procedures related to user authentication and access control.
- Experience in security incident response and the ability to investigate and mitigate unauthorized access attempts.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, SIEM, SOC, and GRC tools for auditing and compliance reporting.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Active Directory automation.
- Knowledge of security controls such as patching, antivirus solutions, O365 security, and backup systems.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and CSRM security competency.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate users on security best practices.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or similar) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and manage BAU (Business as Usual) and upgrade activities for both Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring security and functionality.
- Create, modify, and delete user accounts and groups in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Implement and manage access control policies using PAM solutions, ensuring users have appropriate permissions based on roles.
- Monitor and control user access and security events through PAM solutions such as CyberArk and U4.
- Integrate Active Directory with monitoring tools to identify potential security threats, and anomalies, and respond proactively.
- Develop and enforce security policies related to user access and authentication.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents involving user accounts, such as unauthorized access attempts or account compromises.
- Integrate security incident response efforts with Security Operations Centers (SOC) and SIEM tools for seamless monitoring and detection.
- Conduct regular audits of Active Directory settings, user accounts, and permissions, ensuring compliance and governance through PAM and applicable GRC tools.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to develop and implement security best practices and standards, particularly in managing user access and account security.
- Educate users on security best practices, including the protection of credentials using tools like LAPS (Local Administrator Password Solution) and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
- Develop and automate Active Directory tasks using PowerShell scripting to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure the security of IT systems through backup, patching, group policy deployment, antivirus solutions, Office 365 security, and other security controls.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
