Senior IT Security Specialist Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a Senior IT Security Specialist to support a federal client. This role is responsible for Identity and Access Management (IAM), access control, audit support, security compliance, and cybersecurity operations. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in access governance, security assessments, reporting, and risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor user access across enterprise systems and applications.
Support IAM functions, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
Conduct security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
Analyze security data and develop reports, policies, procedures, and presentations.
Support audit requests and recommend process and security improvements.
Evaluate security controls, risks, and operational effectiveness.
Provide technical guidance on security tools and cybersecurity best practices.
Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity programs using the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Access Control, and/or security log analysis.
Active DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification required.
Experience implementing enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
Experience conducting or leading security assessments of applications and IT systems.
Experience with SailPoint, ServiceNow, Imperva, or similar security tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience developing and delivering client-facing presentations.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting federal government clients.
Familiarity with FDIC security standards and processes.
CISSP, CISM, Security+, or related cybersecurity certifications.
