Supporting critical business applications in a remote environment, the contract Senior Java Application Developer will translate business requirements into technical solutions, delivering application enhancements and implementing data integrations while ensuring compliance with client security standards. Key responsibilities Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions, focusing on application enhancements and data integrations Collaborate with project and support teams to maintain and improve application performance and support production activities Document technical requirements and create automated tests to ensure application quality and prevent regressions Required qualifications Strong proficiency in Java and Java-based application development Demonstrated expertise with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and JSF Experience delivering production-ready software across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Ability to understand and document technical requirements, including detailed design documentation Experience working in a Scrum or cross-functional team environment
