Senior Java Developer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Java Developer for their New York, NY location. Responsibilities: Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java 17+ Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot 3.3.x Implement data persistence and complex queries using JPA with relational or NoSQL databases Develop and support event-driven architectures using Kafka and MQ messaging systems Containerize services using Docker for consistent deployment in cloud-native environments Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure seamless API integration and end-to-end functionality Contribute to UI development using Angular (17+/19+) Participate in CI/CD pipelines and source control using Git Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards Define system architecture aligned with business and user needs Requirements: Strong experience with Java 17+ and backend development Expertise in Spring Boot microservices and REST API development Hands-on experience with JPA and database integration (SQL/NoSQL) Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in Java (core concepts, frameworks, and libraries) Hands-on experience with: Spring Boot JPA / Hibernate REST API development Experience with Angular 17+ (or higher) and TypeScript Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) Experience working with Kafka and messaging systems (MQ) Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL (MongoDB) Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Strong testing and debugging skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience designing enterprise-level architectures Proven ability to mentor teams and lead technical discussions Exposure to full-stack development and UI integration Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to manage technical deliverables and timelines Years of Experience: 10.00 Years of Experience Why Should You Apply?
