Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Java Developer at Manager (C2) level who can independently own critical modules, drive technical solutions, and contribute to end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise applications. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise along with ownership, mentoring, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java‑based applications
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
Implement robust, secure, and high‑performance solutions
Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices
Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Contribute to low‑level and high‑level design (LLD/HLD)
Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews
Delivery Ownership
Own modules/components end‑to‑end
Ensure quality, timelines, and deliverables are met
Identify and mitigate technical risks/issues
Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction
Work closely with business analysts, QA, DevOps, and architects
Participate in client discussions and status updates
Provide technical clarifications and support during delivery
Mentor junior developers and guide them on best practices
Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards
Drive improvements in code quality, reusability, and performance
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
Java (8 or above)
Spring Boot / Spring MVC
Hibernate / JPA
Experience building REST APIs and integration services
Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $110000- $117000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
