Senior Lead Conversational Designer

Job Description:-We are seeking a Senior Lead Conversational Designer Generative AI & LLM Experiences to help shape the future of AI-powered user experiences. This role is focused on designing intelligent, scalable conversational systems powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), where AI generates dynamic responses instead of relying on predefined conversation trees.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing conversational experiences for Generative AI applications and can collaborate across Product, UX, Engineering, and AI Platform teams to define AI behavior, tone, safety, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design conversation strategies for probabilistic, LLM-powered AI systems.
• Create prompts, guardrails, and response frameworks to improve consistency, quality, and safety.
• Define AI personality, tone, and conversational behavior across user journeys.
• Partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineering, and AI Platform teams to shape conversational AI strategy.
• Evaluate, test, and optimize LLM responses through prompt engineering, experimentation, and iterative improvements.
• Present design recommendations and AI strategy to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Establish conversational design best practices, governance, and quality standards for enterprise AI applications.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Conversational Design, UX Writing, Content Design, or a related field.
• 3 5+ years of hands-on experience designing conversational experiences using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Deep understanding of deterministic vs. probabilistic conversational design principles.
• Experience creating prompts, prompt libraries, guardrails, and AI response frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of conversational UX, user-centered design, and content strategy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile product teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with one or more leading LLM platforms, including:
  • OpenAI (GPT)
  • Anthropic Claude
  • Google Gemini
  • Meta Llama
• Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering methodologies, and responsible AI principles.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale conversational AI initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for improving AI-driven user experiences.
