Key Responsibilities

  • Perform project development for medium to large projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • Manage project progress and budget and provide regular, timely status reports to appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate project activities across departments, business users, IT, external suppliers, sub projects, and other project teams.
  • Analyze and translate business strategies, plans, and requirements into IT systems, working with users to define system requirements and resolve issues.
  • Translate and apply the enterprise vision to all system, technical, and application projects.
  • Coordinate activities and programs with other departments to expedite work and improve interdepartmental performance using tact and diplomacy.
  • Direct the design, testing, and documentation of application programs in all phases of application development for medium to large projects.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of relevant business processes, best practices, and applicable legislative initiatives, regulations, and activities in areas of responsibility.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Microsoft Project or other project management software.
  • Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in the project management field.
  • In depth understanding of Agile development methodology principles.
  • Strong background in the Scrum software development framework, preferably serving as Scrum Master.
  • Excellent, very persuasive oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Exemplary, advanced interpersonal, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of information technology project management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI ACP) or similar Agile certification preferred.
