Job Overview:

Our client, a well-established full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join their team in Corpus Christi, TX. This is an on-site position requiring a legal professional with a robust background in commercial litigation, a strong ability to manage cases independently, and exceptional client engagement skills.

The ideal candidate is a lateral senior attorney or shareholder with an existing book of business who can also handle new and ongoing litigation matters.

• Serve as lead attorney managing all aspects of commercial litigation.
• Oversee litigation teams and guide complex cases to resolution.
• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Manage legal processes from investigation and discovery through trial preparation and conclusion.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
• Research laws and precedents to develop effective legal strategies.
• Optimize the use of evidence, including video, documentary, and physical materials.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of billable hours and prepare detailed case reports.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Admission to the Texas State Bar.
• Proven first-chair trial or arbitration experience.
• Exceptional legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
• Client-focused with a professional demeanor to interact with clients, opposing counsel, and judiciary.
