Qualifications

• Current license to practice law in California
• At least 5 years of experience working as a senior attorney, and 7 to 10 years since passing the bar

Responsibilities

• Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
• Manage case load and assign to appropriate attorneys
• Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
• Prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
• Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediations, and arbitrations on behalf of clients
