Senior Logistics Analyst – HAZMAT Operations | U. S. Army Sustainment Command Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HSMO) Division. The role is located in the South West Region of the CONUS, primarily at 1741 Marshall Road, Fort Bliss, TX. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support under Service Area (SA) and Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline: Program Support as a Senior Logistics Analyst – HAZMAT Operations for the U.S. Army Sustainment Command – Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HSMO) Logistics Support Services in the Defense and Security Industry Sector. Focus on risk management, compliance, and logistics modernization solutions for the U.S. Army. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Serve as Senior Logistics Analyst – HAZMAT Operations, overseeing hazardous material operations and inventory control aligned with NAICS 541330. Provide senior‑level oversight of HAZMAT operations; conduct performance analysis; lead audits; advise command on policy compliance; implement corrective actions. Ensure hazardous material and waste compliance with federal, state, and Army regulations; manage SDS documentation; conduct inspections; prepare environmental reports; support audits and regulatory reviews. Support logistics modernization initiatives and performance analytics for the Army readiness mission. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years logistics management experience; 5+ years Army installation‑level supply oversight. Experience in hazardous material operations, inventory control, and environmental compliance. Strong knowledge of NAICS 541330 and related regulations. Leadership, analytical rigor, strategic planning, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. SKILLS REQUIRED Management and financial consulting; acquisition and grants management support; business program and project management services. Policy analysis, performance metrics, logistics modernization, and audit readiness. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools; advanced MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat; data analytics tools; Visio; rapid learning of new tools. OTHER REQUIREMENTS U.S. citizenship required; no visa sponsorship. Background check and drug testing required. Commitment to work with diverse teams and intellectual curiosity. Humility, willingness to learn, and a mindset of continual improvement.
