Job Overview
Malibu Jack’s Indoor Family Entertainment Center is seeking a Senior Attractions & Arcade Technician to lead hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of arcade games, rides, and attraction systems.

This role is designed for a technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills who can accurately diagnose issues, prioritize repairs, and ensure equipment is fixed correctly the first time, while helping guide and support other technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical systems including AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, relays, power supplies, and control components
Perform mechanical repairs on attractions, arcade games, and go-kart systems
Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term solutions
Prioritize repair work based on safety, downtime, and guest impact
Guide and support other technicians and verify quality of completed repairs
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and accurate repair documentation
Ensure attractions operate safely and meet manufacturer and company standards
Respond to urgent equipment issues and on-call emergencies as needed

Required Qualifications

Strong electrical troubleshooting experience
Solid mechanical repair background
Proven ability to diagnose problems rather than replace parts blindly
Experience with industrial equipment, amusement rides, arcade systems, or similar machinery
Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
Comfortable working independently and making technical decisions

Preferred Experience

Industrial or manufacturing maintenance background
Automation, controls, or HVAC experience
Previous senior or lead technician experience
Experience working in high-uptime environments

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift equipment
Comfortable working in an active guest-facing environment
