Position Summary:

As the GBS HTR Regional Service Delivery Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of Hire-to-Retire (HTR) services, including Payroll Operations, Employee Data Management ( EDM), and future transitioned processes on the HR scope, across your designated region. Reporting to the Global HTR Service Delivery Lead, you will be accountable for meeting service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement. You will provide strategic leadership to your regional team, managing resources, performance, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance with global standards, regional regulations, and business needs. Demonstrated expertise in regional HTR operations is highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development: Provide leadership to the regional team by setting goals, delivering regular feedback, and facilitating career development opportunities. Ensure the team performs at a high level, continuously improving service delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsible for hiring and resource development.

Operational excellence – Payroll: Oversee payroll processes, including reconciliations, validations, processing, and reporting. Ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery, adhering to compliance requirements, legal standards, and internal controls.

Operational Excellence – Employee Data Management (EDM): Administer HR Information System (HRIS) transactions, managing onboarding, offboarding, organizational changes, and position management. Ensure data accuracy and process efficiency across the employee lifecycle.

Efficiency & Innovation: Drive process automation, implement innovative solutions, and enhance data visibility and accuracy. Continuously evaluate operational capabilities and identify opportunities to streamline processes.

Performance Management: Contribute to the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs, measure operational performance, and conduct performance reviews. Develop action plans to address gaps.

Controls, Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regional regulations, data privacy standards, and internal controls. Mitigate risks associated with HTR operations to safeguard company reputation and operational integrity.

Internal collaboration: Collaborate with other regional Leads for best practice sharing

Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR regional teams, and external partners such as payroll providers. Act as a trusted advisor, aligning HTR services with broader business objectives and regional needs.

Strategic Initiatives & Transformation: Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives, including scope expansion, process transformation, and technology upgrades to drive regional and global HTR goals.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

HR domain certification is mandatory.

Payroll certification is a plus.

Experience:

15+ years of progressive experience in Hire-to-Retire operations, specifically with North American, European, or ANZ-based clients or companies, preferably in the FMCG industry.

10+ years of leadership experience managing large, cross-regional teams.

Workday experience is advantageous.

Proven track record of driving business value through process optimization, strategic planning, and technology innovations.

Extensive experience in stakeholder management and building high-performing teams.

Skills:

Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage change in a dynamic work environment while maintaining high team morale and operational efficiency.

High emotional intelligence, with a focus on stress management, empathy, and relationship - building.

Strong strategic thinking, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving business needs.
