ABOUT THE ROLE
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of managing all HR functions to support the hotel’s commitment to excellence in service and hospitality. This role requires a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards, a passion for people, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, promoting a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills, service excellence, and compliance with luxury brand standards.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, regular feedback, performance appraisals, and addressing performance issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to develop workforce plans that align with business goals and operational needs, including staffing levels, labor costs, and employee scheduling.
- Oversee employee health and safety programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with OSHA and hotel safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish required.
- 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR certification is a plus.
