About This Role:
- Provides people management leadership by hiring top talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork, and addressing any disciplinary actions as required.
- Provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps, and delivering security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the organization.
- Oversees and leads the Regulatory Remediation Assurance team within areas of significant risk, complexity, or scope, including financial crimes and technology/cybersecurity domains.
- Develops and maintains information security standards and procedures based on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational needs.
- Acts as a strategic advisor to leadership on managing the portfolio and financials, with deep industry knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends, and identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business areas.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of audit methodology for multiple, significant, complex business areas and/or global operations.
- Sets operational team direction and collaborates with others to achieve common goals.
- Focuses on long-term planning for the functional area.
- Handles confidential information with discretion.
- May participate in or lead various projects/division initiatives as needed.
- Demonstrates leadership core values.

Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or equivalent education required.
- 10+ years of relevant audit and/or control testing experience.
- Preferred industry certification in audit and information security (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CIA).
- Advanced knowledge of audit standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of the risk management environment, standards, regulations, and mitigation.
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends.
- Skilled in managing budgets and resource allocation.
- Skilled in mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
- Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities to ensure issue resolution.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions.
