What The Role Is

Reporting to the Director of Operations Continuous Improvement and Operations Standards, the Senior Manager, Operations and Maintenance Standards will provide strategic leadership and oversight for continuous improvement, operational standards, and work management initiatives across the company's renewable energy assets. This role will lead a team responsible for driving efficiency, improving performance, and implementing best practices across the operating fleet.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide vision, strategy, and formal plan for continuous improvement, operational standardization, and work management programs and processes
  • Lead teams responsible for developing and implementing efficiency initiatives, performance benchmarks, and best practices
  • Partner with operations leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve fleet performance
  • Oversee development and maintenance of standards, playbooks, tools and systems to enable operational excellence
  • Ensure effective documentation, knowledge management and information sharing across the organization
  • Analyze fleet performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and develop solutions
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline and world-class performance through accountability of adoption, measurement of program benefits, and dissemination of program lessons learned
  • Develop and manage department budget, headcount planning, and resources
  • Represent operations excellence initiatives across executive leadership and key stakeholders

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years operations leadership experience in energy or similar industrial environments, renewables preferred
  • Expert knowledge of power generation operations, maintenance practices and efficiency programs
  • Strong technical writing experience and proficiency
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellence in team leadership, cross-functional collaboration and influencing organizational change
  • Experience developing and implementing operational standards and best practices
  • Success driving large-scale continuous improvement and performance optimization
  • Strong business acumen with financial analysis and project management skills

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.

Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations

$154,000$184,000 USD
