Position Overview

The Senior Manager of Cologuard, Owned Channels, is responsible for driving the development, optimization, and overall strategy of Cologuards consumer website, SEO/SEM and CRM program to increase product awareness and adoption of Cologuard among potential and returning patients. More specifically, this role will lead a cross functional team to ensure our website and CRM channels serve as effective marketing tools, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in successfully managing websites, SEO/SEM and CRM initiatives and optimizing online user experiences.

The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding marketing acumen and strategic ability to develop and manage acquisition campaigns across owned digital channels and strong leadership skills such as excellent collaboration and communication across internal/external agency and executive teams. Must have an innovative and future-minded approach to marketing campaign development; and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and capabilities needed to drive a more personalized experience to prospective Cologuard users.

This role requires the individual to be hybrid in an office location in one of the following locations: Redwood City, CA, San Diego, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Madison, WI, Marshfield, WI or Cambridge, MA.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with the Consumer Marketing leadership to develop, refine, and implement proven and new promotional strategies that improve CRC screening habits and Cologuard adoption with our target consumers.
  • Contribute significantly to delivering the in-year consumer brand plan across owned channels for Cologuard.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive website, SEO/SEM and CRM strategy based on data and aligned with the overall marketing and business goals.
  • Own Cologuards consumer website and user experience optimization across both English and Spanish properties. Oversee and work with cross functional partners on the continuous improvement of the websites experience, ensuring it aligns with best practices and meets the evolving needs of the target audience. This includes development of personalization, content updates aligned with brand messaging and SEO best practices, and design improvements in line with the Cologuard brand style guide.
  • Ownership of the Cologuard CRM campaign experience. Leverage the use of data, insights and segmentation to design and implement customer journeys to drive acquisition and activation. This includes overseeing the development of email templates; content, design and key data collected.
  • Support data driven marketing strategies and CRM programs, channels, and campaigns including cross channel consumer lifecycle marketing journeys, acquisition, activation, consumer data strategies, creative & agency management, analytics, insights, and optimizations.
  • Utilization of website and CRM data and analytics to track performance, generate insights, develop improvement strategies and provide regular reporting performance to the broader marketing team and leadership.
  • Partner with the media agency on SEO and SEM activities. Work to enhance SEO based on best practices to optimize for search engines and oversee paid search campaigns.
  • Ability to successfully build relationships with cross-functional partners such as agencies, analytics, IT and customer experience team to drive common goals and successfully execute projects.
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams of cross-functional resources in a matrixed organization with competing priorities, with or without direct authority or reporting relationships.
  • Stay abreast of website technologies and tools, ensuring effective implementation and integration with other marketing systems.
  • Exceptional project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and timelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations with some direction and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the companys Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to travel 25% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business administration or related field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 8+ years of brand marketing experience developing and executing website, CRM or digital marketing management.
  • Strong understanding of website analytics, SEO and SEM.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency utilizing business software; including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Basic computer skills including Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in marketing, business administration or related field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the management of a CRM technology platform, such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud.
  • Diagnostic/device/pharmaceutical marketing, sales, and/or healthcare marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to present to and influence senior leadership (VP level).

Salary Range:

$129,000.00 - $208,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
