Compensation: $102,000–$125,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams to develop and maintain cost‑effective manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements, quality standards, and LEAN principles
  • Support Sales by reviewing technical aspects of projects, ensuring manufacturability, supplying accurate bid input, and providing ongoing technical guidance
  • Oversee assigned projects, including MRB activities, and deliver engineering support to Operations and Quality to resolve process or out‑of‑spec issues
  • Recommend equipment, fixtures, and cutting tools; assist with tooling design and validation of alternative materials
  • Enter and maintain manufacturing plans within the ERP system, including inventory setup, product structures, and routings
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that drive LEAN implementation
  • Create and maintain documentation for engineering changes and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with CNC Programming to ensure all programs are complete and verified prior to project start dates
  • Lead planning, design, and coordination efforts for integrating new equipment into production


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Engineering strongly desired
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Strong PC proficiency in Windows, especially Word and Excel
  • Experience designing and selecting fixturing and tooling for complex parts
  • Background in precision manufacturing
  • LEAN / Six Sigma training with demonstrated application
  • Experience working within an ISO 13485 environment preferred
  • Proven experience optimizing processes and driving cost reductions
  • Experience conducting process capability studies
