Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Manufacturing Engineer
Locations: Corry, PA / East Aurora, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations by developing efficient manufacturing processes, optimizing machining performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in improving productivity, product quality, and operational efficiency within a machining or manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining or CNC programming experience and the ability to collaborate closely with production teams to support new product launches, process improvements, and daily manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality
- Create, test, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM systems
- Support new product launches, tooling setup, and process validation
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues on the shop floor
- Conduct time studies and establish production standards
- Develop work instructions and manufacturing documentation
- Support quoting and cost estimation activities
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–10+ years of manufacturing or machining experience
- Experience working in a CNC machining or production environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- CNC programming experience (NX, Mastercam, Mazatrol, or similar)
- Hands-on machining experience with CNC mills or lathes
- Experience supporting new product launches or process improvements
- Knowledge of tooling, speeds, and feeds
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
- Aerospace or precision machining experience
