They are looking for Senior Design Engineers to lead the development of advanced mechanical componentsResponsibilitiesDevelop, design, and test fixtures and tools for various machining Develop manufacturing routings and analyze engineering change noticesParticipate in design for manufacturability reviewsLead product/process improvements and cost out initiatives.Perform root cause analysis Program CNC for various milling, turning and operations and ensure optimum cycle time and tools selection.Qualifications and requirements10 years+ in a shop floor manufacturing environment preferably aerospace productsUS CitizenBachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or Master degree with 7 years of experience.Must have at least 5-years of CAD 3D & 2D drawings software experience preferably Creo and Esprit Edge CNC programming.Lean Six-Sigma process improvement experienceAt least 3-years experience in designing fixtures and tools for machining operations and assembliesFamiliarity with vacuum and dip brazing processesThis role is onsite 5 days
