In this role, you will be responsible for designing specialized equipment and systems for automated assembly, test, and other various processes. Your expertise will contribute to the innovative solutions we deliver to our clients, enhancing their manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: •       Design and Development: Utilize Solidworks design software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings of mechanical components and systems.•       Project Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, programmers, and project managers, to ensure cohesive project execution.•       Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with project requirements.•       Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their specific needs, provide technical support, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.•       Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enhance product performance and efficiency.•       Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.•       Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.    Requirements: •       Proficiency in Solidworks design software.•       Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.•       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.•       Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.•       Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.•       Experience with automated assembly and test equipment design is a plus. Core Values and Guiding Principles: At Shamrock Engineering and Automation, our guiding principles shape our decisions and actions.
